Train with me
Educating and mentoring the younger generation in art lies parallel to my trajectory as an artist. As an art educator I strive to create for students a space for exploration and experimenting that sparks several creative processes in them within my studio. I believe that free and fearless thinking, comfort with different mediums are all cardinal to art making and development of visual language and aesthetics. I mentor children, amateur artists, working individuals, on a one-to-one basis through programs especially created to enhance their taste, skill and emotional intelligence.
Fevicreate Momspresso live for kids
Live sessions on art making with Fevicreate on the Momspresso blogging site, using materials easily available at home was a challenging experience. The opportunity to guide young children and their families during the pandemic through fun packed art sessions was educative.
Memories in box
Preserved memories are sacrosanct to existence and perhaps the only way to connect with time that has lapsed. This Mace and Disappearing Dialogues Workshop travels in time to pick moments, events and conversations, delves into family histories, launches instant connections across generations and employs visual art to create a narrative box of memories, original and unique to each creator.
Printing Workshop
A hands-on experience for children and mothers to understand the process of printmaking. Using sponge, forks, paper and acrylic paints, they created printed cards and wrapping papers in a fun filled studio environment.
Papier-mâché
Guided children through the tedious but interesting and hugely fulfilling processes of utility ware making employing the papier-mache technique. The group activity in a studio environment facilitated art conversations and idea exchanges.
SPACES Crafting Tutorial
Working with Spaces on the Momspresso platform, I was entrusted with the responsibility to bring together into the workspace, both, parents and children in an environment conducive to making art. This project also involved my daughter as part of the DIY.
